We
will never truly understand,
Why things happen the way they do.
Why times can be so grand,
Yet they can be so blue.
When
I heard about my mom’s death,
I couldn’t move or speak.
The doctor’s words…they took away my breath,
…I felt so weak.
There
are so many things,
I wish I could have told her…before she died.
Like what joy to life she brings,
And how good it felt…as she held me when I cried.
Her
life, at times, was very rough,
As we all know.
But as every day passed, she stayed tough,
And let her life flow.
She
left so fast,
I couldn’t even say good-bye.
But our love will last,
Till’ the day I die.
But
until my day has arrived,
You’ll be up far, far above,
Unharmed, happy, free,
And held in the arms of Gods great love.
One
last thing I’d like to say,
Which I never really got to do,
You’ll be in my heart every day.
Never forget Mom, I will always love you.
